I recently rediscovered my love for making food at home. Okay, love may be a strong word for me. I have been trying to make an effort to look after myself and that includes eating nourishing, whole foods. I want to have the energy to accomplish everything I need to in a day and not have to battle with my body. This weekend I pulled some cookbooks off my shelf to make a plan for the week and found a few forgotten favorites. I find it easy to fall into the trap of thinking it takes too much time to cook, being tired after a long day at work and bored of the same old meals at home. Delicious, nourishing, healthy, whole foods do not have to be boring. These cookbooks know how to spice it up!
As I am knee deep in packing for my upcoming move on Wednesday (ahh!!) my kitchen time has been cut a little short this week (hey there, frozen pizza and takeout). However since my cookbooks are piled around me waiting to find their spots in my suitcases I thought I would share with you the books I cannot live without – and why you shouldn’t either!
